We are a small hobby kennel located in Northeast Florida, in a rural setting. My family has been involved with the German Shepherd Dog for as long as I can remember. My grandfather had a daughter to the original Strongheart in 1938. Strongheart was the first canine movie superstar in America, starring in his first movie in 1921. His offspring was featured in a section of the Hartford Courant Newspaper when the Mom had 14 puppies and they all survived. The photo was of the mom with her babies and my father at 3 years of age, amidst them all.
Having been raised in the love and care of the German Shepherd Dog, I began actively breeding in 1979 and showing in 1983. We are continuing our proud family tradition with my son, who is occasionally seen in the Specialty and All Breed Rings. Now my granddaughter at the tender age of 9, wants to start learning to handle as well.
It is my hope that I have the opportunity to continue to pass on the knowledge and love of the German Shepherd Dog to others.
